On the Course
Acceptable Dress
•Recognised golf clothing, as determined by convention and current golfing standards, must be worn at all times.
Golf shoes with socks must be worn. Soft spikes are preferred.
•Trousers, shorts and skirts must be tailored. Shirts should be tucked in unless they are specifically designed to be worn untucked and are tailored accordingly.
Unacceptable Dress
The following items are not considered recognised golf clothing:
•Denim of any kind.
•Cargo or combat-style trousers and shorts.
•Beachwear or athletic wear.
•Casual sports clothing
Hats worn askew.
Please note: The golf course includes all practice areas and putting greens, and this dress code applies throughout.
In the Clubhouse
Acceptable Dress
“Smart casual” refers to clothing that is appropriate, respectful and well presented. It is not defined by specific garments but by an overall standard of appearance.
The following are acceptable:
•Smart denim (not ripped, cut-off, frayed or distressed).
•Smart shirts designed to be worn either tucked in or untucked, when intended by the manufacturer and tailored around the waistband.
•Tailored trousers, shorts and skirts.
•Modern casual footwear, including smart trainers, loafers, deck shoes and sandals worn without socks.
Unacceptable Dress
The following are not permitted in the Clubhouse:
•Hats and caps.
•Flip-flops.
•Cargo, hiking or beach-style shorts.
•Sports shirts, including football, rugby and cricket shirts.
•Golf shoes of any kind in the lounge or dining room
.
Members and visitors are also asked to remove waterproofs and change out of any wet or soiled clothing before entering the lounge or restaurant.
