 The Worcestershire Golf Club

Playing at Worcestershire GCEstablished in 1879, The Worcestershire Golf Club is proud to be the oldest club in Worcestershire and the 5th oldest in England.

The course was originally laid out on Malvern Common and moved to its present site, Wood Farm, in 1927 where it nestles under the magnificent backdrop of the Malvern Hills.

The mature parkland course was set out in 120 acres by the renowned golf course architect, Dr Alistair Mackenzie.

The Worcestershire is a private club but is always pleased to welcome visitors to play on our challenging and well presented course either as individual visitors or in organised groups as part of a society or company day.

 Captain's Drive-In Minimize

Out with the old and in with the new.

Phil Dance formally handed over the captaincy to Allan Davies on Friday 14 March.

The proceedings began with the Captain's Dinner and then at midnight the retiring captain presented the in-coming captain with his blazer and captain's tie.

Then on Saturday at 1 pm during the Captain's Inaugural comeptition, the new captain drives-in, helped by the Immediate Past Captain, Phil Dance, and and Vice Captain, John Monk.

Despite the rain, the new Captain launched his ball 270 yards down the 1st fairway - a great start to his year in office.
